Service to Community
We provide "Stack-A-Story Bookshop"
as a valuable service to the children of the community...
This service is provided free of charge to children in a number of disadvantaged situations, also to community members and schools in areas that are experiencing food injustice and socio-economic deprivation.
Bookshops are held at community locations, schools, etc,
and at Slakmarket Farm in Lexington KY
A Stack-A-Story representative and local farmers
will lead the event giving guidance to kids.
Helping them to create and develop the storyline based on agriculture.
We provide the environment, the tools, and supplies
to form creative books from their words & arts.
*Bookshop requires parent participation*
We bring families together - spending quality time
and further strengthening our communities.
Stack-A-Story will work with qualified volunteers (example; Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program) to fulfill the parental participation need at workshops conducted for children who reside at an orphanage or CPS.
